Chris Parish - Elder
Chris became a Christ-follower during his late-teenage years. The patient encouragement of godly mentors has profoundly impacted his life. As a result, Chris has a particular compassion for newer believers and young families. He and Linda came to Mineral Wells and Indian Creek in 2003. They have been married for more than 40 years and raised two sons, who are now married and growing their own families (grandchildren, hooray!)
Chris is a second-generation cattle rancher and master electrician. He excels at repairing worn-out farm equipment. He has a degree in education, but has never worked a day in the classroom (student teaching was all he could stand). Chris’ main hobby is tending his cattle, but he also enjoys all types of music, and fishing, hunting and target shooting with his sons and friends.
