He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ . . . (Ephesians 4:11–13 ESV)
What are Equipping Classes?
Equipping Classes are subject-driven and content-focused courses that take place during the Sunday education hour (9:30–10:30 AM). Our classes offer various levels of instruction on books of the Bible, theology, and biblical application in various areas of life. The desire for our ECs is for everyone to grow deeper in their understanding of the gospel, to learn to interpret and apply the Scriptures, to Biblically engage in culture, and to be transformed in daily living.
For a detailed explanation, check out our blog post, "What Are Equipping Classes?"
What Classes Are Available?
Classes will be offered six or seven weeks at a time.

Everyday Evangelism - New Equipping Class
We want to equip you to be faithful in sharing Christ by teaching a series of Equipping classes over the next several months. The first of these classes is called Everyday Evangelism, and the goal is to take some of the mystique out of the word “evangelism” and bring it into the realm of everyday life where it belongs. Please join us for this six-week class!
Sundays August 10-September 21, 2025 at 9:30am in the Sanctuary. (There will be no class on August 24th for Family Sunday.)
Junior High + High School

The students will learn from Scripture-based studies in the areas of apologetics, biblical interpretation, biblical relationships, core doctrines, ethics, evangelism and missions, servant leadership, spiritual disciplines, and worldviews.
