The Darkness and the Dawn

June 14, 2020 Preacher: Jake Grogan Series: The Gospel of John

Scripture: John 20:1–18

In this passage, Jesus is raised from the dead. John highlights Jesus' interaction with Mary Magdalene, who was weeping when she should have been rejoicing. In his sermon, Pastor Jake reminds us of the centrality of the Resurrection and the impact it should have on our lives. What we believe about the Resurrection determines everything about our lives. We need to believe that Jesus is risen and live in that truth. Jesus is alive and that changes everything!
