In this text, the Lord confirms His covenant with Israel through His mediator, Moses. Everything Moses does in this chapter points us forward to our Mediator. Moses mediated the old covenant, but Jesus mediates the new covenant. There is now only one mediator between God and man, our Savior Jesus Christ! By His blood we enjoy access to the Father.
