WHAT IS A STUDENT ACCOUNT?
It is so very important that we, as parents, place our children into situations and environments that foster spiritual growth and maturity. Therefore we are dedicated to taking yearly mission trips with your teenagers and taking the preteens to camp. Our desire is to assist you as you raise and disciple your family.
Events of this quality can be a struggle on your family budget. This is why we have a specific fund set up in your child’s name. The purpose of this fund is to help you to save for the big ticket ministries we host at ICBC. There are several ways you can contribute to your student’s account.
- You can pay online through our church’s website. Simply make sure that your child’s name is written in the “notes” section.
- You can pay with check. I encourage you to place your check into an offering envelope and write your child’s name in the section called “Special”. You will also need to write your child’s name in the “memo” section of your check.
- Lastly, you can pay with cash in the offering. As with the check, place your cash into an offering envelope and write your child’s name in the section called “Special”.
As you can tell, it is VERY important that your contribution is tied to your child’s name in order for the funds to be placed into the proper account. Checks and cash can be placed in the offering plate or brought by the church office. We also offer numerous fundraising activities in which your student can participate throughout this next year. Watch the church calendar and announcements in the bulletin and newsletters for these events. All fundraiser monies earned by students are saved in their accounts. It is our hope that this simple process will help as you look for ways to pay for your child’s involvement in the ministries at ICBC.
