In these Psalms, we witness David worshiping through painful seasons. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God is faithful even when all seems lost, evil seems unstoppable, and God seems invisible.

I. God is faithful even when all seems lost (Psalm 11)

• PROBLEM: The wicked attack the righteous (and it seems like they will prevail)
• PROMISE: God will avenge the righteous & judge the wicked
• PROOF: God’s character
• PRACTICE: Put your confident trust in Him!

II. God is faithful even when evil seems unstoppable (Ps. 12)

• PROBLEM: The godly have vanished
• PROMISE: God will guard the righteous from rising evil
• PROOF: God’s Word
• PRACTICE: Trust the Lord’s sure Word

III. God is faithful even when He seems invisible (Ps. 13)

• PROBLEM: God has hidden His face from His servant
• PROMISE: God hears you and He will respond
• PROOF: God’s works
• PRACTICE: Trust in the steadfast love of our listening Lord
